We process data collected when you visit our site in accordance with the data privacy provisions of the Federal Republic of Germany.
 
Collection and processing of personal data
 
As standard, when you visit our website our web servers store the IP address assigned to you by your internet service provider, the website from which you are visiting us, the web pages that you visit within our website, as well as the date and duration of the visit. Personal data, which we require only to process your application, shall be stored only if you choose to give it to us as part of your application. Your personal information and data shall be collected and stored with the greatest care and integrity, and only used for the intended purpose. We keep all data for six months in order to allow us to trace the application process and answer any questions; after this period it will be automatically deleted. The provisions of the German data privacy act (BDSG) will be observed. We only collect the data that is required as part of your application to Hörmann. You declare that you agree to processing and transfer of your data exclusively for the application process. You confirm that your details are accurate. You are also aware that false information may lead to withdrawal of a possible employment contract.
 
Your online application
 
After your data has been entered and transferred, it goes directly to our external service provider’s server via an encrypted connection. All data is encrypted based on the SSL procedure. If, after registration, you log in with the provided user details, the SSL encryption procedure will again be used.
 
Data security
 
Your data shall be hosted by a provider in Germany as part of commissioned data processing in accordance with § 11 BDSG. Both we and the provider take technical and organisational security measures to protect your collected data against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are constantly being improved in line with technological developments.
 
Right to information
 
In accordance with applicable law, on request we will be happy to inform you whether we have personal data stored on you and what information this includes.
